Keeping Life Interesting - Discovering New Mediums

I have always loved to discover new mediums in which I can create with.

Whilst colouered pencils are not totally new to me I have never embraced them as a medium in my work. I have doodled using colouered pencils and sketched but that is about it really.

After seeing some beautiful works of art created using the medium I was interested to see if I could create some works of art myself. It keeps life interesting using different methods and mediums to create my art. I invested in some high quality light fast pencils and have started to draw a few pieces. The technique used is different to painting so I have had a few tutorials and will continue to do so to improve my work and technique.  I am please with my initial results and am embrassing the pencil.  I hope to create some more pieces and if all goes well will soon be offering pet portrait commissions although this will be spring time 2025.
