Peacocks doing well.
I thought you may like an update on the little peacocks chicks which hatched on my high wall earlier this year.
As you can see from the pictures they are doing well and getting bigger now. They are going through that gangly funny looking stage, still having a bit of fluff on their heads, The white peacock looks like its a male as his feathers are darkening up, when he is grown his side feathers will turn black, if he was a female they would stay white. Funny how this happens. I also think the other two will be males as they have a lot of bars in their feathers, more than a female would at this stage. We will see.
They still love to sit on top of mums back but she is not so keen now they are bigger. I hope you enjoy the pictures. If you did not see them when they were first born check out my previous blogs.
